We have a great opportunity to work together with the Silverdale Sunrise Club to do some shoreline cleanup and then have lunch together as a joint-Club fellowship event. The project will be to clean up (trash and debris) the Silverdale Waterfront Park, and to plant a few small flowers and plants around the park. We intend to gather at 9:30 AM, and start a two hour work party, which will end in having hamburgers and hot dogs in the covered picnic area at noon. Besides cleaning up the park, one of our main objectives will be to generate better fellowship between the two Clubs. We will ask that our members who have the “Rotarians at Work” t-shirts wear them for this work party. We will also bring our “Rotarians at Work” sandwich board signs to display when we are on task. Thanks to Scott Slocum and the Past Presidents for working on this.
